Article Writing – The Best Way To Get Your Customers To Buy From You

If you are an affiliate marketer, article writing is a great way to promote yourself as an expert in your particular niche and to promote your affiliate products.  The best part about article writing is that it is Free way to drive traffic to your site and increase your affiliate revenue!

Article writing can be used to promote just about any niche that you can imagine.  The internet has really opened the doors to new types of online marketing.  There are dozens and dozens of article sites online that you can post your articles to.  They are free to join and are always looking for fresh, original content to post.

So, all you have to do is get started writing articles in your particular niche.  I usually write up 3 or 4 and then submit them to each site.  It can take awhile to go through the submission process on 5 or 6 article sites so it is much quicker to submit them in batches.  Some article sites will publish your article right away and some like Ezine have to approve them before they are live to the public.

Be sure and read the terms of use on each and every article directory site.  They are pretty similar but if you don't follow the rules for each one, your article won't be published or worse, your account can be deleted!  Usually, if there is a problem with your article you will be given the chance to edit it and re-submit it.

One of the biggest no no's are affiliate links.

Obviously as an affiliate marketer, you want to promote your links but you cannot put affiliate links in your articles.  Article directories like Ezine will actually catch this error while you are writing the article and won't allow you to post your article.  You can get around this in a couple of different ways.  You can actually purchase a cheap domain name and forward it to your affiliate link.  While this may not be the best way, it does work.  I have also used USFREEADS to post reviews of my affiliate products.  I then send traffic to that link and then on to my affiliate link.  If you know how to set up landing pages to promote your affiliate products, you can send traffic to that site and then on to your affiliate site.  There are a number of ways to promote you link so you just have to be creative.

Another great advantage to using articles to promote your affiliate site is that you accumulate incoming links to your site which helps boost your SEO or search engine optimization.  The more incoming links you have, the better the search engines like your site.  Your articles are also indexed on the search engines and an article will good keywords will rank better so keep that in mind when you are writing your articles.
